The core skill this subject tests is considering a global issue from more than one genuinely different perspective — different countries, communities, or stakeholder groups affected differently by the same issue — not just restating the same view in different words. Where the exam provides source material, the highest marks go to answers that evaluate the source critically — considering its reliability, potential bias, and limitations — rather than treating everything in a provided source as straightforwardly true. Building a structured, evidenced argument
