Same two papers at HL and SL, different depth

IB Physics HL and SL sit the same two papers — multiple-choice and data-based questions, then short and extended response — with HL covering the same core topics in greater depth plus additional HL-only content. Data-based questions test interpretation, not just recall

The data-based section of Paper 1 tests applying physics principles you already know to unfamiliar data and graphs — the interpretive skill matters as much as content knowledge here. Calculations and uncertainty
